New Update

Morpheus is a peer-to-peer application, which allows you to search for, download, and also play all sorts of digital media from people all over the world. We have included this popular download on this month’s CD. The first time you run Morpheus, you will be guided by the New User wizard, which will help you register as a member of Morpheus. Choose a username, a password, specify your e-mail address and you’re done. It also has five buttons Start, My media, Theater, Search, and Traffic, which resemble the five basic parts of

Morpheus.

A very nice feature is that it lets you search in different categories like video, audio, software, images, and documents. This ensures that your search is quicker and you get more relevant files. The search result includes title, estimated download time, user name, file size, and user’s bandwidth, which help you decide which file is best for you. You can see all your downloads and uploads happening, along with details like title and status.

Home users will enjoy its ability to pause and resume downloads as and when they are online. So you don’t have to download a huge file at once. We even found that for very big files, it opens up multiple connections with different users, speeding up your download. Overall, an application any Net enthusiast can’t do without. But one word of caution: be aware of the legal implications of downloading copyrighted files using

Morpheus.
