The shatterproof screen packs five layers to ensure its durability. The first layer is Exterior Protective lens that has a hard coating to prevent the device against abrasion, followed by second layer of interior lens that equips a clear protective shield. Then comes the dual touch layer wherein if primary touch-sensitive layer is damaged, the second layer comes into action to maintain touchscreen performance. The fourth layer is the AMOLED display, which according to Moto can absorb shocks. Finally the fifth layer is an rigid aluminum core that provides structural durability. Motorola India head Amit Boni says, the device is backed by 4 years of warranty on the screen of the device.
