Motorola India brings Android 4.4.4 Kitkat to Moto X, Moto G and Moto E

Motorola india has started rolling out the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat update to three of its extremely popular handsets in India- Moto X, Moto G, Moto E. Motorola made this announcement on Twitter that the new update will be an OTA (over the air) update for the three devices in India.

Motorola said the update will include several stability, framework and security fixes as well as a new phone dialer and OpenSSL-related fixes for all three models. This is the second Kitkat update for the three phones as Motorola rolled out Android 4.4.3 just last month. The roll out is carried out in phases so it would take some time to reach all corners of the country.

Motorola is certainly aiming for a strong foothold in Indian market by introducing products that promises good hardware and software experience to the users.

A detailed change log is introduced by Motorola for all three smartphones. Moto E users will get an updated phone dialer with a new graphical layout and colours for a better consistency and usability. On the other hand the new update for Moto G will bring new pause video recording feature on the viewfinder, an updated phone dialer and access to Motorola Alert, which is an app that sends periodic alerts with the user's location to selected contacts.

The flagship Moto X will receive camera enhancements such as improved image quality with consistent exposure and flash colouring, as well as better photos in low light conditions using front camera and the new dialer.
