Motorola is preparing for a successful year. There appears to be something for everyone between the fantastic Moto Edge+ (2023) and a flurry of other recently unveiled gadgets. However, the business has just shown a new phone, so fresh announcements are far from over.

The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023), which offers good mid-range specifications in a phone with, well, a stylus to go with it, made its debut today. It's not the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but it's a more affordable entry point for those who enjoy having a stylus. It costs $400, which is $100 less than the Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) from a year ago and a third of what Samsung's stylus-equipped flagship costs.

Moto G Stylus Specifications

The phone will start out with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. However, you can upgrade to a beefier model with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There will be two variety choices: Champagne with rose and cosmic black.

Interestingly, the micoSD card slot is still functional, and a 2TB card can be inserted there if desired. The almost extinct 3.5mm headphone jack will also be included.

Camera Details

There will be a 50MP (f/1.88, 2.0 m) main camera on the back, an 8MP (f/2.2, 1.12 m) rear macro camera, and a 16MP (f/2.45, 1.0 m) front-facing shooter on Motorola's most recent model. Software upgrades to the cameras will also include features like dual capture, 8x digital zoom, and night vision, among others.

Battery and Additional Features

On the power side of things, it'll pack a 5,000mAh battery fit for up to 20W charging. To put things in perspective, the Pixel 7 Pro has the same battery capacity, but Motorola's may be able to last longer due to its weaker processor and screen that is slightly less demanding. The phone will come with a USB-C cable and a charger, unlike other rivals.

As of June 2, Cricket in the United States will sell the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023), and it will eventually be available from other carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Google Fi Wireless, and others. In a few months, Canadians interested in the device will be able to purchase it from Motorola's website and select carriers.

With Motorola coming in hot with its new telephones, it could have one last stunt at its disposal. While the organization hasn't authoritatively declared its freshest variant of the Motorola Razr, the 2023 model could end up one of the most fascinating gadgets of the year.
