Success Factors has a fully integrated suite of HR solutions. We are working on growing our ECM (Enterprise Content Management) module and learning is our largest user base. We have over 7000 customers globally and shy of 400 in India with an overall 125 million users. We believe that analytics is one of the most exciting parts of our solution. It's been the strength of SAP in the past and we will carry that forward. We have the SAP analytics cloud and this year we'll have a full set of people analytics. That will be even more content-rich.

We have a strong presence in the on-premise HCM (Human Content Management) solution areas and what's interesting about the Indian market is that customers are slower to move to the cloud because they're so comfortable in the well-customised environment that they have. In other parts of the world like in Australia and the US, we've seen a faster move from on-premise customers to the cloud. So we're trying to help our customers on the Indian subcontinent understand the value of cloud and take advantage of things like regular releases.

Human Experience Management (HXM)

We are moving from a mentality of HCM where humans are assets to HXM or Human Experience Management. Experience management is our theme for 2020 and beyond. We've invested to ensure that our product is very focused on creating the most incredible employee experience. We've acquired a company called Qualtrics which has employee experience products that we are working on integrating into Success Factors. It will go and get appointments at multiple surveys throughout the employee lifecycle. Not like the formerly big annual survey where you had to wait six months to get the results. Qualtrics can pull and get real-time feedback from your employees on how they're experiencing a certain process. It also has the analytics to help you understand what to do about it.

We've got both a mobile and PC interface. Our mobile interface looks very similar to Facebook or any of the other cutting-edge apps. We're using almost a Google-based view, where there's a single search line and it will give you reminders. Our reimagined user interface leverages conversational AI to take in what the employees are looking to do in terms of an HR task like let's say apply for leave. Employees can opt for search bars and the questions appear in a very conversational easy mobile-friendly way. We have a number of different innovations and trials with conversational AI in our interfaces. We're using AI and Machine Learning to help remove unconscious bias from job descriptions.

Cloud and security

Globally we have found ourselves as the strongest cloud provider when it comes to security and being GDPR compliant. In India, we're talking about investing in the same. We are partnering with Microsoft Azure our hyperscale partners and looking at such solutions so that we can serve those customers in India with regard to their data residency requirements.

Success Factors, unlike any other cloud platform product for HR, has a truly open platform. We have 200 partner apps that can interface with us and create a truly personalised experience for your employees. Just like Apple changed the market in terms of its app platform, we can attend the same thing when it comes to HR. The HR tech space in India has incredible startups and we're working across the globe with these companies.
