New Update

In today's very dynamic and fast growing business scenario, a key business

requirement has been the availability of heavy content services. Services

including media streaming, live video conference and multi party video

conferences are available for addressing these requirements . This project was

conceptualized and implemented in order to meet the need of MTS business. Basic

issue needed to be tackled was to maintain seamless coordination across

multi-cultural and multi-lingual high profile media personalities and diplomatic

press staff. A significant technical challenge faced was identification and

engagement of technology, robust and secure enough to enable live IP

communication over a private & public infrastructure in the region. Establishing

a collaboration among various partners starting from service providers, ISPs,

Media & Content Publishers, and Security Agencies was a definite challenge.

The IT Team at MTS developed and deployed a solution to mitigate risks and

overcome challenges. Internet and MPLS bandwidth for webcast and video

conferencing was provisioned by 3 ISPs over fiber, copper and V-SAT, with a

transparent failover to avoid any outage or disruption to video/audio feed. MTS

is planning to continuously re-architect the solution with new technologies to

address latest demands.
