MWC 2014: BlackBerry announces Z3 and Q20 Smartphones running on BB10.2

BlackBerry made its official announcement of its latest devices running on the BlackBerry 10.2 (BB 10.2) platform at this year's MWC in Barcelona. The phones; Z3 and Q20 will be making its foray into markets in the coming months over the course of 2014. The most interesting part about Z3 and Q20 is its expected affordability factor that will enable the company to offer its devices running on BB 10.2 platform to varied consumer base. The company has divulged much about the said devices but we do know that they come in 5 inch and 3.5 inch form factor respectively and are the first-ever products to be manufactured by Foxconn.

BlackBerry Z3 smartphone is an upcoming all-touch BlackBerry® 10 smartphone designed for customers in Indonesia. The stylish yet affordable 5" smartphone will come with the latest BlackBerry 10 OS, version 10.2.1, and exceptional productivity features.

BlackBerry Q20 smartphone is an upcoming QWERTY smartphone that merges the power of BlackBerry 10 with the classic BlackBerry design and experience with integrated trackpad. With a new 3.5 inch touch-screen and keyboard with frets and sculpted keys, it will rekindle BlackBerry's QWERTY success of yesteryears. 

The new BlackBerry Z3 smartphone will be making its bow starting with Indonesia in April while the BlackBerry Q20 is slated for launch in second half of this year.
