MWC 2014: Huawei launches full HD MediaPad Tablet and TalkBand Smartwatch

Huawei at the ongoing MWC has launched not one, not two but three different devices this year. The China-based company has added slim-looking Ascend G6 smartphone, MediaPad X1 tablet and TalkBand B1 smartwatch to its product line-up for 2014.

Ascend G6: Huawei Ascend G6 4G sports a 4.5-inch qHD 960 x 540 LCD display at 245 PPI. At 7.85mm slim and weighing 115g, Ascend G6 packs 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU with 1 GB RAM and powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running under Huawei's Emotion UI 2.0. It is available in a range of colors including black with light gunmetal grey or rose gold highlights, or in white with pink or champagne gold. It is loaded with a 2,000 mAh lithium polymer battery with up to 30 per cent power saving.

MediaPad X1: This one is a 7-inch 1200 x 1920 FHD tablet and features 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio. MediaPad X1 is powered by a Kirin 910 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The ultra-long lasting 5000 mAh battery. 13 MP Sony Exmor R BSI rear-facing camera that has a five plastic elements (5P) lens featuring panoramic shooting and an IMAGESmart engine with auto-scene recognition. MediaPad X1's 5MP front-facing camera has a four plastic elements (4P) lens.

TalkBand B1: The company's first wearable device, TalkBand B1 is a Bluetooth 4.1 wireless based device that is capable of handling seven hours of continuous calling and includes a 1.4-inch flexible OLED display. TalkBand B1 is designed to support wireless calling on both Android 2.3+ and iOS 5.0+ compatible devices, and syncs effortlessly via NFC. For added security, TalkBand B1 vibrates if more than 10 meters away from the synced smart device. With a 90 mAh battery, TalkBand B1 lasts six days.
