New Update

This LCD monitor from NEC-Mitsubishi has a large 20.1” display and is quite feature-rich. It has both an analog as well as digital interface, something the company calls Ambix technology. The digital interface provides better display quality and can be

used only with certain high-end graphics cards that support it.

We tested the monitor using a SiS Xabre 400 AGP card with 64 MB VRAM. The overall picture quality was very sharp and clear. Plus, the strain on eyes was negligible compared to a normal CRT monitor. Another good feature of the monitor is that it can be rotated by an angle of 90¡. An accompanying software called Pivot Pro, is used to change the view to portrait once the monitor’s been rotated. When installed the software makes an icon in the status bar from where you can change the desktop views. You can also adjust the height of the monitor up to a difference of 80 mm. The native and recommended resolution of the monitoris 1280x1024 for landscape and 1024x1280 for

portrait viewing.

Overall, a very good monitor for high-end CAD/CAM kind of work.
