Netmagic is one of the first VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) partners in India to develop the orchestration layer on top of the VMware virtualization platform. Enterprises can now benefit by leveraging the managed services being provided by Netmagic on top of Cisco's cloud optimized system. At the same time service providers can take their offerings to market faster by offering this as a white label solution.

Commenting on the launch, Sharad Sanghi, Managing Director & CEO, Netmagic Solutions, said, 'Netmagic's collaboration with VMware and Cisco has helped create a global, best-in-class Public Cloud (IaaS) platform with unique offerings for both Indian and overseas markets. We intend to further leverage this relationship to tap into enterprise virtualization and the private cloud market.'

'We are very excited about our partnership with Netmagic for developing a global, best-in-class Public Cloud (IaaS) platform,' said T. Srinivasan, Managing Director, VMware India and SAARC. 'The VSPP enables our partners like Netmagic to offer solutions that provide cost-effective, custom-made cloud infrastructure through a simplified, easily accessible service model.  This partnership will create new opportunities to offer virtualization-enabled solutions, applications and services for their customers and sets the foundation for greater profitability. I am optimistic that this strategic partnership will help accelerate the proliferation of innovative cloud services and solutions in India.'

Also commenting on the collaboration, Rajesh Rege, Sr. Vice President — Data Center, Cisco India & SAARC, said, 'A journey to an IT cloud infrastructure requires changes both in the technology and the operations of a business. As more companies understand what a cloud infrastructure could mean for the agility of their business, there is a growing realization that it will need to be built differently. Cisco and VMware together offer a truly integrated technology platform that addresses the challenges of infrastructure virtualization and reduces the risk for enterprises planning to move to private clouds. We are excited to be associated with Netmagic as a key link in the value chain of high-value service delivery.'
