This latest version 5.5 is a monitoring tool that allows not only monitoring of the servers from anywhere in the world, but also includes a remote Web monitor to check the network and server status on the move using a Web browser, cellphone or any handheld device. The remote Web monitor includes two types of Web page views: one for a normal Web browser and one optimized for viewing from a cellphone or a handheld device. The tool monitors the network for failures or irregularities and, once they are detected, it alerts the administrator by e-mail, pager or SMS, and also by taking corrective measures.
