Nextbit Robin, an entirely cloud-based Android smartphone, is set to launch in India on May 25, 2016. Nextbit is a mobile technology company based out of San Francisco, United States. Robin is the first smartphone from Nexbit technology and they claimed that their user would never get a shortage of storage space. The company offered 100GB of cloud storage for free to its users and integrated this feature into the OS.
Initially, the company was planning to launch the smartphone in the month of April but due to some regulatory approvals, they are going to sell and launch the Nextbit Robin on May 25.
This phone already has been launched out of India in August 2015. The phone is based on Android and comes with a 5.20-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. For security, it has fingerprint sensor which has been placed very ergonomically on the right-side panel where normally power or lock/unlocked buttons been found in the smartphone.
In the camera section, Nextbit Robin packs a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
