Nokia Launches Windows Smartphone Lumia

In an attempt to regain its market and offer something exceptional, Nokia has launched its first smartphone series Lumia with Windows 7.5 OS. Graced with Nokia's elegant design, the new devices -Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 promises superior imaging and Optics, Nokia Maps and Nokia drive, along with HTML 5, 3.7 inch capacitive touch-screen, 8MP camera and Internet Explorer 9.

Nokia Lumia will be distributed through Nokia's chain of new look retail outlets with a customer friendly ecosystem. Users of Lumia can access more than 35,000 apps from Microsoft. Nokia intends to deploy its new form across 5000 Nokia retail outlets in India. Nokia Specialists will be available across these outlets to help customers with their needs.

This is the first time when Nokia has launched a phone in India within a week of its launch in Europe. This move is driven by the growing mobile phone market in India. Nokia Lumia will be available for pre-order from December onwards.
