The wait has been quite long. There have been quite a few leaks floating around regarding the RTX 3000 series and the next generation of Nvidia graphics cards and many were expecting a reveal, at least of the workstation graphics card lineup at Computex 2020. But Coronavirus hampered those plans and the event was cancelled. But we might be getting a reveal on May 14th in the form of a Youtube reveal.

Nvidia announced that the keynote which was supposed to be held at GTC 2020 will now instead go live on their Youtube channel on 14th May, 6 am PT (6:30 PM IST). This keynote will be pre-recorded and not livestreamed.

The company said, “Huang will highlight the company’s latest innovations in AI, high performance computing, data science, autonomous machines, healthcare and graphics during the recorded keynote.”

The graphics part is what has us excited. I do not expect them to announce the RTX lineup, but I do expect them to announce workstation GPU with their next gen Ampere architecture, which will make their RTX 3000 series.
