Oppo launches A78 5G in India Check Specifications price

In India, Oppo just launched the A78 5G. According to Oppo, the Dimensity 700 SoC from MediaTek powers its new smartphone, which supports Airtel, Jio, and 5G networks. The phone will compete with the recently released Note 12 5G from Redmi in its category.

In a similar manner to the Realme 10 Pro, the Oppo A78 5G has dual cameras housed within two sizable cutouts that are vertically aligned on the rear. But to make it look more contemporary, the back panel has a shiny stripe. Additionally, the phone is available in Black and Blue as colour options.

Specifications for the Oppo A78 5G

The Oppo A78 5G has a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a typical brightness of 480nits, and a 96% color gamut. The display has HD+ resolution (1612 x 720 pixels), but it has a lot of bezels, which may bother some users.

The Oppo A78 5G has MediaTek's Dimensity 700 5G SoC inside, which has become the go-to option for smartphone manufacturers looking to provide 5G at a reasonable price. With the chipset, you get 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.

The phone supports extended RAM technology, which increases memory by utilizing idle storage. The microSD card slot on the Oppo A78 5G can also be used to store more data.

On the back, there are two cameras, as previously stated. A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth camera are part of the rear camera system. Sadly, there is no ultra-wide camera, which is something that many OEMs have begun omitting from budget smartphones.

A waterdrop-shaped notch houses an 8-megapixel camera on the front panel. ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13, comes pre-installed on the Oppo A78 5G. The smartphone also has dual speakers, a 5,000mAh battery, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with 33W of fast charging.

A Type-C charging cable and charger are included in the package. In addition, a clear silicone case is included in the package to provide the smartphone with additional durability.
