New Update

China-based Oppo made its India debut earlier this year with its rotating-camera equipped N1 phablet that impressed all with its looks and performance. With Find 7 the company is now looking to bridge the gap between its global and Indian market strategy.

Display to light up your eyes - Oppo has managed to steal LG's (G3) thunder by bringing in the first ever Quad-HD display based smartphone in the country. In simple terms Quad-HD is the better and upgraded kind of display that is superior in quality to full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) and comes with a resolution of 2500x1600 pixels. Now for the naked eye these numbers won't add up in reality but even then having Quad-HD, the next display innovation in mobility on board is encouraging. Full-HD display in itself is quite spectacular and offers highest quality viewing experience.

Quick to charge, battery lasts long - With all these high-powered display, powerful chipset and camera, the biggest issue one faces with a smartphone, is its battery life. Even bigger problem lies with the fact that most of these devices take around two hours to fully charge. But with Find 7, Oppo has managed to ensure that even with an average battery your life doesn't stop in between just to charge the phone. With its unique yet bulky charger the Find 7's battery gets charged up to 75% in less than half an hour. Hard to believe I am sure, but Oppo has managed to solve the biggest issue for any smartphone user that no tier-one brand has looked at offering. That said, Oppo cannot hide the fact that Find 7 has an average battery which needs one time charge in a day.

Looks and performance to match the best - Find 7 is quite the looker even though it is laced with a textured plastic finishing. The phone's design has rounded curve edges that make the 5.5 inch device easy to use. The real-time performance of Find 7 poses no issues, lags or screen freeze, however we did observe heating on the device especially when video recording on the 4K or ultra-high definition mode. Latest hardware offers the best performance that pits the Find 7 against the best in the market (fig). That said, the 13 MP rear camera on the phone is quite average to say the least with effective images in normal light conditions but mediocre imaging quality in low-light. The camera lets you convert the original image into 50 MP quality images that basically happens by fine tuning set of 10 images of similar essence. The phone runs on the Color OS UI that we have seen in other Oppo devices.
