Chinese smartphone maker Oppo announces its much anticipated N1 Mini in India at a price of Rs. 26,990. The smartphone is the compact variant of the flagship N1 launched in India in January 2014.
N1 mini boasts a 5-inch HD display and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6Ghz alongside Adreno 305 GPU. Complementing the processor is a generous 2GB RAM for a true smartphone experience. The single-SIM smartphone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the company's custom skin, Color OS 1.4 on top of it.
N1 Mini sports an innovative 13-megapixel rotating camera with Sony's IMX214 sensor and a LED flash, which is able to shoot photos up to 24-megapixel in size when shooting in Ultra-HD mode. The phone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage with no expandable support. For connectivity the phone has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE and 3G options.
N1 Mini has a 2140mAh battery unit and is 9.2mm thick with a weight of 150 grams. The phone comes in White, Blue and Yellow colour options and is is expected to hit the market later this week.
