The Oppo R1 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset coupled with 1GB RAM.

The Oppo R1 measures 7.1 mm in thickness and weighs about 140 grams which is neither light nor too heavy in current market. On the camera front, it gets an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front-facing cameras, both with f/2.0 wide aperture. It gets 16 GB onboard storage, and there is no word as to whether it can be expanded or not. All of this is fuelled by a 2,410 mAh battery.

Earlier this year, Oppo launched the N1, boasting of the world's first rotating 13 MP camera and came in a gigantic 5.9-inch form factor with 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC 2 GB RAM, 16/32GB onboard storage only and packed with a 3610 mAh battery. The company had originally launched the phablet at Rs 39,999 but now the N1 is selling in the country at revised price of Rs 37,990.
