OPPO Reno 10 series: To Launch in India in July and to Ship with Different Chipsets

The Oppo Reno 10 5G family in China, which consists of the standard Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+, was introduced last month. The Reno 10 series from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may soon be unveiled in India. The Oppo Reno 10 5G series smartphones are rumoured to launch nationwide in July, while Oppo has yet to confirm a timetable officially. The devices' Indian versions can use different processors. The Snapdragon 778G SoC that drives the Chinese model of the Oppo Reno 10 might be replaced with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor in the standard Oppo Reno 10.

The Oppo Reno 10 5G series will be introduced in India in July

In July, the Oppo Reno 10 5G series will be introduced in India. But the precise launch date has yet to be made public. According to the rumour, the Indian models will have different processors, somewhat different designs, and different cameras from the Chinese models.

Specifications of the Oppo Reno 10 5G series

• The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC is reported to power the Oppo Reno 10 and Oppo Reno 10 Pro. The Reno 10 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, whereas a Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the Chinese version of the vanilla model. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, the most expensive model in the list, is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and the Indian model is also expected to include the same SoC.

• In India, Oppo is expected to reserve the telephoto lens for the top-tier Oppo Reno 10 Pro+. The Oppo Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro in China include telephoto lenses. The Oppo Reno 10 and Oppo Reno 10 Pro could offer 80W fast charging, similar to the devices introduced in China, while the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ could support 100W fast charging.

• All three Oppo Reno 10 variants have triple back cameras and a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Both Pro models feature 100W fast charging and have a MariSilicon X NPU.

Price of the Oppo Reno 10 5G series smartphones

In the company's native country, China, the Oppo Reno 10 5G series smartphones were initially announced in May. The Oppo Reno 10 costs CNY 2,499 (about Rs. 29,000) at launch, while the Reno 10 Pro starts at CNY 3,499 (about Rs. 41,000). The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G starts at CNY 3,899, about Rs. 45,000. When it launches, this Oppo handset may be closely copied by the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
