Oppo Unveils ColorOS 14: Introducing Cutting-Edge AI Features for a Next-Level Mobile Experience

Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled ColorOS 14, which includes an advanced Pantanal cross-platform smart system and the cutting-edge AndesGPT, a proprietary, self-trained large language model (LLM) meant to improve user experience across mobile applications. Oppo recently revealed ColorOS 14's increased capabilities, employing Pantanal to provide a broader range of diverse services. These include complete smart travel features such as hotel reservations, recommendations, guided tours within China, and an easy-to-use international travel tool.

AndesGPT, which powers Oppo's self-developed intelligent assistant, Breeno, has been significantly upgraded. The improved assistant now efficiently manages over 400 frequently used system settings, allowing users to engage in more natural and seamless discussions. Furthermore, Breeno now excels in AI content development, timetable management, and other smart duties, thanks to AndesGPT.

AndesGPT Unveiled

AndesGPT Oppo detailed the foundation of AndesGPT on three critical technical characteristics: discourse enhancement, personalization, and cloud-device communication. The model's fundamental features are knowledge, memory, tools, and creative content creation.

"The synergy of Pantanal and AndesGPT promises to deliver a more creative and imaginative experience for Oppo's global user base," the company said in a statement. Oppo underlined its commitment to improving software, hardware, and service integration, and it is working with 320,000 developers and 750,000 creatives.

In a related development, Samsung of South Korea has introduced its in-house built generative AI mode, Samsung Gauss. This unique system, which includes Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image, is now improving employee efficiency and is set for expansion across other Samsung product applications, promising fresh user experiences in the near future.
