Iffco Tokio General Insurance Co's Implementation of BI tool. Location: Pan India

In the organization MIS requirements were handled through some static pre defined monthly reports and adhoc data analysis was carried out using spread sheets. There was also a gap in data percolating to the actual decision makers in the field and they would have to rely on others to get required data. After evaluating various tools, we narrowed down to QlikView and implemented the same in the organization. Implementation of QlikView BI tool resulted in multiple benefits for the business. Reliance Mutual Fund's Leveraging Data with BI. Location: Mumbai RMF carries out high level research for more than 500 companies. As a result, huge amount of data is generated. Lack of real-time access to decision making information lessened productivity of business users was adversely impacted. RMF chose 1KEY Agile BI Suite as the front-end tool, as the interface was similar to Excel. This helped RMF save enormous time and the trouble of building custom reports.
