Canon India's Green Cycle Program, Location: Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, As a part of CSR, Canon observed World Environment Day by initiating a project for Printer and Cartridge E-Waste management program called the Canon Green Cycle program. The project will allow users to bring in any brand of used printer or cartridge and drop the same for E-Waste disposal. Green IT @ SBI, Location: PAN India The scenario today in branch banking in SBI or for that matter in any other bank is that whenever the customers enter in the branch to deposit / withdraw funds from their Bank account, they have to fill in the paper-based deposit/withdrawal voucher/ticket and wait in the queue for their turn to come for transaction fulfillment. There is a large amount of paper wastage in the form of deposit/withdrawal vouchers/tickets. The Bank came up with a very innovative first of its kind technological solution “GREEN CHANNEL COUNTER” in order to conquer the above challenges.
