Panasonic today announced the release of its new smartphone – Eluga Turbo. The device is facilitated with a high capacity 3GB RAM and Octa Core processing features which will support future OS updates and richer application functionality. The Turbo is available on leading online shopping portal Snapdeal at a best price of Rs. 10,999 through online pre-registrations from 22nd January, 2016 with sales beginning on 27th January, 2016.

With more smartphones shifting to 4G, Panasonic has forayed into launching 4G models in its Eluga series. The Eluga Turbo includes other connectivity options such as Dual SIM – 4G/3G + 2G, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System (A-GPS). Its impressive 1.5 GHz 64 bit Octa Core processor with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB Internal memory, expandable by another 32 GB, sets it apart from the other smartphones in the ELUGA series.

The Panasonic Eluga Turbo is powered by Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and a 1.5 GHz Octa Core processor. It comprises of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and Japan based Asahi’s Dragontrail glass on the back, with a sleek 6.95mm profile featuring on a 12.7 cm (5 inch) IPS display which renders wider viewing angles and great daylight readability. The Turbo comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash supporting 30fps/Full HD 1080p video recording and a 5 MP front camera and runs on a mega 2350mAh capacity battery for longer operations. It is available in multi colours such as Marine Blue, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold.

The latest smartphone comes with the FitHome user interface developed exclusively by Panasonic, which permits single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen.
