Vodafone Idea, a telecom company, has partnered with Team Vitality, an esports organization located in Paris. Through this long-term partnership, the telecom hopes to strengthen the Indian esports scene.

The goals of both businesses are to provide esports enthusiasts with chances and exposure. Vi customers will be able to take part in esports and get special access to some of the well-liked Teams Vitality competitions and teams thanks to this agreement.

Vi and Vitality focus on eSports in India 

Through this partnership with Team Vitality, You now want to focus on eSports in India. Vi Games recently entered the eSports segment by hosting popular free tournaments in various games such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire Max, Asphalt 9, Clash Royale, etc. Commenting on the association, Avneesh Khosla, CMO, of Vi said, "Gaming has always been our strategic focus and we have continuously strived to strengthen our gaming portfolio with the right partnerships and related offers.

Over the past few years, sports have revolutionized the mobile gaming scene, especially among more young audiences, so our focus on going deeper into this space was a natural progression for Vi Games.

Locally, Team Vitality's all India Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) team made it to the top 16 teams to qualify and compete in the 2023 CODM World Championship held in Atlanta, USA from 15-17 December.

The organization had earlier contacted popular gaming creators Nischay 'Live Insaan' Malhan, Rachit 'Rachitroo' Yadav, Nitin 'Classified YT' Chougale, Shagufta 'Xyaa' Iqbal and Pratik 'Aurum' Mehra, with YouTube following is around 20 million inclusive.
