Too thin to be a Bible, the title of this book is a misnomer. There's only one chapter on diagnosis and repair, and not enough advice on PC upgrading. The first two
chapters explain which PC to buy. Novices to hardware might find this book useful as it briefly covers everything about desktop PCs. Other topics covered include: how to set up a basic network and the TCP/IP protocol. how to keep your system up to date for better performance, networking and firewalls. A good reference to start off.
