Pear Linux is a French Ubuntu-based desktop Linux distribution. Some of its features include ease-of-use, custom user interface with a Mac OS X-style dockbar, and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codec’s. The Latest version 7.0 includes some new and exciting features such as Mission Control, Desktop Switcher, Notification Center, LaunchPad etc.

Mission Control: It  gives you a bird’s-eye view of running apps.

Desktop Switcher : the lower part of the screen gives you a view of the virtual desktop.

Notification Center : Display all your notification in one place.

LaunchPad : Each app is represented by an icon, and Launchpad creates as many pages of app icons as you need. Swipe across your trackpad to move between pages. And open any app with a click.
