Poco is marketing the new smartphone as "The Big Deal," and it will go on sale in India on December 15 at noon. There are rumors that this smartphone is the Redmi 13C rebranded. This phone was released last week in India under the Redmi subbrand of Xiaomi.
With the release of a new, reasonably priced C-series phone, smartphone manufacturer Poco plans to increase the range of products it offers in India. The Poco C65 smartphone was announced by the firm on social networking site X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
Available Global variant of Poco C65
Poco C65 is already available in the global market as a smartphone equipped with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and a 50 MP AI camera. However, the company has not confirmed whether the Indian version will have similar specifications. This model is expected to be the first smartphone with 8GB of RAM that can be paired with 256GB of storage.
The upcoming Poco C65 follows the Poco C55 smartphone launched in February. Like every other Poco smartphone, the upcoming smartphone is a Flipkart exclusive.
In the X edition, the company also shared a poster of the Poco C65, which reveals its design. Poco teased the smartphone in purple. Globally, this phone is available in two more color options: Black and Blue. The design of the Indian model also looks very similar to the global version.
Poco C65: Expected Price and Specifications
The Poco C65 smartphone is likely to be priced below Rs 12,000 and may feature a 90Hz, 6.74-inch HD+ display. The smartphone may feature a MediaTek Helio G85 mobile platform backed by an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For the camera, the Poco C65 may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The smartphone may also feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a center-facing waterdrop notch for selfies and video calling. The Poco C65 may also pack a 5,000mAh battery, which is likely to support 18W fast charging. The smartphone is also expected to run MIUI 14 for Poco based on Android 13.
