PUBG Mobile update 0.17.0 to bring Erangel 2.0

PUBG is a game which is in a state of constant evolution. With new updates come new features to the game. First, they arrive on the PC version of the game and then they arrive in PUBG Mobile. Which means PUBG Mobile players have been waiting for Erangel 2.0 for quite some time now, which is already available on PC. 

But the wait might soon be over with the next update. According to PUBG Mobile’s infamous leaker and content creator Mr Ghost gaming, Erangel 2.0 will be coming to the next update, titled Update 0.17.0. His source is PUBG Mobile Russia. 

Erangel 2.0 is already available in the game’s beta servers and will come to the main servers with the new update. The map is now divided into three land masses with certain new bridges connecting them. The map on mobile will also apparently have the secret room as evidenced by Mr Ghost’s video. 

There will also be a new game mode coming with update 0.17.0. It is called Extreme Cold. In this mode, players will have to find items to survive and prevent others from doing so. The new update might also bring new classes like Call of Duty Mobile. But there are reports that the classes will be available only in a new game mode called EvoGround. 

Apart from this, a new feature wherein players will be able to throw items to their teammates is also coming with the new update. This feature has already been introduced in PUBG PC, with an additional feature of being able to throw melee weapons at opponents and damaging them. Whether that feature will be available or not in PUBG Mobile is not yet known. Apart from that, the Karakin map has also been teased in the game, but I would wager that it is a bit far off in the timeline.
