New Update
PUBG PC Clan system

Usually an update hits the PC version of the game first and then makes its way to the mobile version. But it seems like PUBG has taken the opposite way this time around. According to a datamine leak, PUBG PC might soon be getting a clan system, much like the feature already available on PUBG Mobile.

The reports of a clan system on PUBG PC were first leaked by a dataminer by the name of PlayerIGN on Twitter, who has leaked reliable PUBG information in the past. PlayerIGN found several files after Season 5.1 hit PUBG PC which point to an upcoming clan system.

The leak suggests that creating a clan will cost 5,000 BP, PUBG’s in game currency. Also, according to the leak, the clans will have a title, a slogan and the maximum number of members is 20. There also seems to be a file called resumes for recruits. It is possible that new recruits will be able to submit their resumes to join a clan. We can’t say for sure what it exactly will be, but I would put my money on lifetime stats of the player. The clan system can also possibly be linked to the ranked mode. The ranked leader board has a “no clan” label and how a player’s rank will affect the clan’s ranking or whether it will affect it at all is not known. There is also no information on when the new clan system will be released, but it usually does not take long after datamining leak.

Until then, hold your chickens!
