The essence of corporate governance is the accurate & timely availability of

MIS with the implementation of centralised banking solution that allows to

gather the banks entire data in a central repository.

PNB required to create a central repository of data. This was done to support

the generation of all MIS reports to facilitate the effective gathering,

manipulation & presentation of data."

The aim with which the enterprise wise data warehouse was initiated was to

facilitate Decision Support System(DSS) for the management. Datawarehouse with

extraction transforming and loading capabilities that also includes

datacleansing was implemented, along with CRM in more than 1000 branches.

Prepublished canned MIS reports hosted on the Business Objects Infoview Server

was made accessible from all the branches across the country. Now with the

implementation of atleast 5000 mandays efforts per year are saved for each

statement.
