New Update

Quick Heal Internet security has got a good strong Antivirus, AntiSpyware, AntiMalware, AntiRootkit, Parental control, two-way Firewall and IDS/IPS. Among other features, there is a Browser Sandbox which can give you an uninterrupted and secure browsing experience. It provides Internet security protection by acting like a screen between the PC's operating system and the

malicious threats. Keeping these things aside, there could be some enhancements to the feature-set, which should include website/URL advisor, cloud storage/online backup, system maintenance tool, social networking protection and integrated mobile security solution.

There was no special requirement as far as installation of the product is concerned. Home screen of QuickHeal is broadly divided in three subsections. At the top, there is a banner strip, indicating the security status of the system. Just below that, there are four tiles showing four different feature capabilities of Quick Heal. And at the bottom right, you will find an option for scanning. The IS tool took about an hour to scan our 250 MB test folder containing 27,000+ files, which is slightly long. Also, during the scanning process, the security software used up about 190 MB of primary memory. It was the highest

amount of memory consumption of all security suites used in this shootout.

The Quick Heal security blocked all eight files of EICAR. And it blocked 20

out of 25 zero day malicious websites, which is again a positive result.
