New Update

Back with a bang, after years of decline! Radio is suddenly back in vogue after a period of decline. With FM radio leading the way, even traditional SW/MW stations are fighting back with new technology to enhance their audience. Enter Digital Radio Mondiale or DRM technology that puts FM-like sound quality using digital signals in the normal shortwave and medium wave radio. Deutsche Welle of Germany became the first broadcaster to use the new DRM system in June. Other European stations are expected to follow suit soon.
