Rapoo 7100P is a wireless mouse with an attractive design which comes packed in a familiar looking box. The mouse has four buttons (left-right click, back-forward), uses two AA batteries, operates with 5GHz wireless technology and has a USB dongle that needs to be plugged into the PC. The On/Off switch is at the back. According to Rapoo, the 7100P is the first mouse in world which works on
5GHz wireless technology. We don't want to endorse or oppose that claim but yes, the 7100P mouse is very good as it would be less prone to interference from Bluetooth.
The permissible range to work is standard 10m, and you will not find any difficulty to use the mouse even if some object lies between the mouse and receiver. Also, it has 4D H-scroll technology which allows you to scroll either vertically or horizontally which is helpful while browsing and searching documents. Mouse is flexible in adjusting the dpi (500/1000) according to your necessity. There are
two AA batteries used to power the mouse but if you want to work with a lighter mouse you can use only one battery, though it doesn't make much of a difference. In terms of convenience, I would say that the mouse is very comfortable to
handle and fits nicely in your hand. The 7100P wireless optical mouse is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/Win7, though it is not yet compatible with Windows 8.
