Realme 10 and 10 Pro Plus: The MediaTek Helio G99 SoC Processor to Launch on 9 November

According to Realme, the next-generation Realme 10 series will sell worldwide on 9 November. Starting at 7:30 pm IST, fans can watch the launch ceremony live online on YouTube and Realme's social media channels. Realme has not yet specified how many phones will be available under the Realme 10 lineup, but rumours suggest that the company will release two models—the Realme 10 and 10 Pro+. Realme 10 will be more reasonably priced and come with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.

According to the official poster, the Realme 10 will have a flat-edge design, like the iPhone 12 series. Like those on some previous high-end Samsung phones, a curved screen will be available on the Realme 10 Pro+ (or 10 Pro).

Specifications and features

Other than that, there is currently no known official information. The Realme 10 Pro+, recently seen on China's TENAA certification site, is rumoured to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage if the leaks are to be believed. Customers can also access 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. According to reports, the smartphone would have a 4890mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging. The next Realme 10 Pro+ is expected to have an OIS-enabled primary rear camera, similar to the Realme 9 Pro+ of last year.

On the other hand, the Realme will have a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. According to an old leak, they were supposed to include a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Other rumoured features include a 120Hz LCD instead of an AMOLED panel and 33W quick charging. Regarding pricing, there is still some ambiguity, but further specifics are soon to be expected.

However, based on the specifications and prior launches, the Realme 10 may cost Rs 20,000, while the 10 Pro+ may cost Rs 25,000 or more.
