In May 2023, Motorola Edge 40 was introduced in India. The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, with a single RAM and storage configuration, powers the device. Three different colours are also offered for Motorola Edge 40 smartphone.

Motorola Edge 40 vs. Realme 11 Pro 5G: Cost in India

This month's Realme 11 Pro 5G pricing offers a range of RAM and storage configurations. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option costs Rs. 23,999 in India. The 8GB RAM models with 256GB storage cost Rs 24,999, while the 12GB RAM option is priced at Rs 27,999. Astral Black, Oasis Green, and Sunrise Beige are the three colour options for the smartphone.

On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 40, released last month, has a single storage configuration and is priced at Rs. 29,999. It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The three colour options for this phone are Eclipse Black, Lunar Blue, and Nebula Green.

Specifications of the Motorola Edge 40 vs. the Realme 11 Pro 5G: Compared

The twin camera arrangement on both mid range smartphones uses different sensors, though. A 100-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor are built inside the Realme 11 Pro 5G. On top of the display, in the centre of a punch-hole slot, the  Realme 11 Pro 5G smartphone also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

In contrast, the Motorola Edge 40's camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Motorola Edge 40 smartphone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for taking photos and videos.

Review of the Motorola Edge 40: A Class Apart?

Speaking of screens, the Realme 11 Pro 5G supports twin nano SIM cards and has a 6.7-inch full-HD (1,080 x 2,412) curved display. The Motorola Edge 40, on the other hand, has a 6.55-inch full-HD (2400 x 1080 pixels) pOLED screen.

Motorola Edge 40 and Realme 11 Pro 5G smartphones run Realme UI 4.0 on Android 13 and support twin nano SIM cards. The Motorola Edge 40 uses a Dimensity 8020 SoC, while the Realme devices are powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.

The Motorola Edge 40 receives a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower wired charging support and 15W wireless charging, compared to the Realme 11 Pro 5G's 5,000mAh battery and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging capabilities.
