About Redfall

Arkane Studios' first-person shooter Redfall was acquired by Microsoft in 2021 as part of its acquisition of ZeniMax Media.

As per ongoing reports by Windows Focal, Redfall is probably going to join the game "Starfield" in the tech monster's broad setup of Xbox and PC gaming consoles.

The developer also emphasizes that the studio's renowned solo "immersive sim" gameplay is still available to players who prefer a more conventional Arkane experience, according to the report.

Redfall: Gameplay

Redfall is a multiplayer and cooperative single-player online first-person shooter video game. In order to fight both vampire and human foes in the game, players can choose from four playable characters with distinct backgrounds and abilities.

Redfall, Massachusetts, a fictional island town, serves as the setting for the video game. After a failed scientific experiment, a legion of vampires invaded the town and cut it off from the outside world in the game.

While trapped in Redfall, players must select one of four distinct survivors to play as. After that, they must eliminate all of their enemies, including humans and vampires.

The European Commission approved Microsoft's $7.5 billion acquisition of ZeniMax Media in March 2021. ZeniMax Media is the parent company of privately held Bethesda Softworks, a game developer and publisher. One of the world's largest media companies is ZeniMax Media.

Meanwhile, according to information provided by the tech giant's lawyers last month, three upcoming games from Bethesda Softworks will be available on Xbox.
