The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to unveil its Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone during the event. The newest Redmi K series smartphone, model number 23078RKD5C, has leaked on Geekbench before any official release. The Redmi K60 Ultra is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC and 16GB of RAM. The listing indicates that the handset will run the Android 13 operating system. The Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to be released as the successor to the Redmi K50 Ultra.

According to a teaser poster provided (in Chinese) by the business on Weibo, the Redmi launch event will take place in China on Thursday, 3 August, at 2pm local time (11:30am IST). The participation of MediaTek and Pixelworks has been confirmed. Exact information regarding what Redmi will debut at the event has yet to be published. Still, the Redmi K60 Ultra, a MediaTek Dimensity SoC and Pixelworks display chip is anticipated to be unveiled.
