Redmi Launches Note 10S and Redmi Watch Expanding the Product Line Further

Redmi India, a sub brand of Mi India,  launched Redmi Note 10S along with its first ever Redmi Watch in the Indian market. Standing right in the middle of Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10S comes with a sleek design, stunning cameras, savage performance and smooth display. It will be the first device to come with MIUI 12.5 (interim) out-of-the-box.

Expanding its wearable portfolio, the company also launched the all new Redmi Watch, giving users access to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle. The newly launched watch with an in-built GPS + GLONASS comes packed with advanced health tracking features combined with 1.4’’ TFT LCD color display for easy activity monitoring.

Redmi Note 10S comes with a quad camera setup that features a 64MP primary camera, 8MP Ultra-wide lens, 2MP Macro camera with 2x zoom capabilities and a 2MP depth sensor. With a 118°field of view, Redmi Note 10S allows users to capture group photographs and landscape shots with ease. The MIUI customizations on the camera app have been enhanced to suit new age social media creators, with features such as skyscaping, colour focus, pro colour and the all new pro time-lapse mode. The new feature allows users to shoot time-lapse videos even under the most complex of lighting conditions. Redmi Note 10S features a 13MP front in-display camera for quality selfies.

Like its siblings, Redmi Note 10S sports a 16.33 cm (6.43) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display or an immersive content viewing experience. It comes with 1100 nits brightness and 360-degree Ambient Light Sensor that detects the ambient light more accurately to automatically adjust the brightness of the screen making for a comfortable viewing experience. It also comes with 100% DCI-P3 ensuring a wider color gamut that enhances vividness and gives an impressive contrast Ratio of 4500000:1. Featuring 180Hz touch sampling rate, it reduces input lag to give users a pin-point accuracy while gaming. Redmi Note 10S features a bezel-less display with one of the smallest 3.5 mm dot-notch on the front. Performance: MediaTek HyperEngine Gaming Technology

Redmi Note 10S is powered by a MediaTek Helios G95 chipset that is designed for the ultimate gaming experience. The CPU has ARM Cortex A55 and A76 clocked upto 2.05GHz paired with the GPU ARM Mali G76 clocked @900MHz giving users a powerful performance that makes games run at the smoothest frame rate possible. With 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, Redmi Note 10S excels at multitasking, and enhances the overall smoothness of performance on the device. This also ensures better image processing with the 64MP primary camera. To add to the power, it comes with UFS 2.2 high-speed storage.

The new Redmi Note 10S is the first device in India to feature the latest MIUI 12.5 (Interim) update out-of-the-box. Based on feedback from millions of customers worldwide, the latest version of MIUI 12.5 focuses on enhancing the overall user experience and will be cleaner, faster and simply more efficient at doing things. In order to deliver an optimized system experience, the company has re-written the system UI, which helps reduce core scene memory usage by 20% and power consumption by upto 15%, thereby providing longer battery life. Providing more control in the hands of the consumer, now users have the freedom to uninstall and remove pre-loaded applications they don’t want on their device.

Redmi Note 10S comes with an interim MIUI 12.5 update and the final version will be rolled out soon via OTA.

Redmi Note 10S retains the new EVOL design offering a refined look and premium feel. It comes in three color variants Deep Sea Blue, Frost White and Shadow Black. The new arch-side fingerprint sensor sits flush on the side of the device. The tapered edges, flattened ends and curved back making for a seamlessly integrated and comfortable to use device. The smartphone also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Featuring an in-built GPS + GLONASS, the new Redmi smartwatch allows users to accurately track their trajectory, speed, distance, and calories burnt during workouts. Redmi Note 10S will be available across Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores starting 12:00 noon starting 18th May 2021. It will also be soon available across all 10,000+ retail stores. The retail price is INR 14,999 for the 6 GB+64 GB variant, INR 15,999 for 6 GB+128 GB.

Redmi Smartwatch will be available for INR 3,999 starting May 25, 2021, 12:00 noon across Mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.
