Recently, the Redmi 13C inexpensive smartphone series was introduced in India by Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi. The Redmi 13 series, the company's next smartphone, is about to be released in India. It is made in China. The arrival date of the new lineup, which will replace the Redmi 12 series that debuted earlier this year, has already been revealed by Redmi. In China, the Redmi 13 series is already accessible.

The Redmi 13 series will be launched on January 4 and includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G model. Now the company has shared the first teaser of the upcoming smartphone model. Redmi took to social media platform X to reveal some of the specifications of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G details 

The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be the world's first phone powered by the MediTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. Redmi also revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will have a curved AMOLED display that supports 1.5K resolution. 

The company has also announced that the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone will also feature "Fusion Design" and Vegan Leather. Apart from that, rumors suggest that the smartphone will retain a 4000mm² VC heatsink for heat management.

Camera features

For photography, the smartphone should have a triple rear camera setup that could include a 200-megapixel primary camera (Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor) with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ also has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. 

Just like the Chinese version, the Indian version of the smartphone may also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. There are also more smartphones coming to the Redmi 13 series, such as the Redmi 13 Pro and the vanilla Redmi 13 version. Details of these models are expected to be revealed in the coming days. 

According to a report by FoneArena, the Redmi 13 series smartphones will be available through mi.com and other online and offline channels. The Pro models may only be available on e-commerce site Flipkart, while the Redmi 13 smartphone can be purchased on Amazon.
