Redmi Note 13 Pro: Gets Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, IP68 Rating, and Teased Camera Samples

The Redmi Note 13 series will go official in China on 21 September with at least three models: the Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Xiaomi is sharing more information about the devices as the launch date approaches. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will include a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel main sensor. On the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, the business has also provided camera samples of the future phone. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 13 series specs on Weibo. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Qualcomm's latest midrange chipset is built on the 4nm technology and has an eight-core CPU with four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency units limited at 1.95GHz. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has already been revealed to be powered by MediaTek's 4nm Dimension 7200-Ultra SoC.

Redmi Note 13 series: Expected Features

The IP68 water and dust resistance grade of the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones has been teased. The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will have a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor with optical and electronic image stabilisation (OIS/EIS).

Xiaomi has also shared several Redmi Note 13 Pro+ camera samples on Weibo. The samples demonstrate the new image sensor's camera capabilities. It implies that the camera unit will have filters such as Forest Green, Negative, Vivid, and Warm Green.

The Redmi Note 13 series will be released in China on 21 September, according to the company. The event will begin at 7:00 pm local time (4:30 pm IST).
