The Redmi Note 12 series, introduced in March of this year, may soon have a replacement as the Chinese smartphone maker is developing new models. A Redmi Note 13 smartphone and another unidentified Redmi smartphone are alleged to have just been found on the EEC certification website. As a replacement for the Redmi Note 12 series base model, the rumoured Redmi Note 13 will be released. This year, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC powers the Redmi Note 12 5G. It has an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
New Redmi Smartphone: Redmi Note 13
A new Redmi smartphone with the model number 2312DRAABG has reportedly been detected on the EEC certification website, according to a report from TheTechOutlook. The rumoured Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone was discovered a few days ago on the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) website.
In addition to this phone, the story continues, a Redmi smartphone with the model number 23090RA98G has also been discovered on the EEC certifications website. The device's name still needs to be added. The to-be-found contains no information about the supposed devices' features and characteristics except their model numbers. The business hasn't yet needed to make information public.
Redmi Note 12 series
Earlier this year, the Redmi Note 12 series, which includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, was introduced in India. The phones have AMOLED screens with up to 120Hz refresh rates and come pre-installed with the MIUI 13 custom skin.
The top-end Redmi Note12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note12 Pro+ 5G are equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, while a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC powers the Redmi Note12 5G. A 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor, a 120-degree field of view, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens make up the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G's triple rear camera configuration. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera as well.
