PUBG short for Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds has transformed the very idea of gaming on the go in India. PUBG is considered as the best battle royale shooting games presently and while its mobile version is more popular in India than the PC version, the company is now planning to launch a PUBG Lite in India which can easily run on low-end PCs.
Last year, PUBG Lite was rolled out to give games a full-fledged PUBG experience on low-end laptops. And to do that, PUBG LITE was optimised in graphics and gameplay features so that the game can run on entry level laptops too that do not have a graphics card or a high RAM capacity.
While the PUBG Lite was available only in Beta in select Southeast Asian countries, the demand for the Lite version is much higher in India now. And to comply with the rising demands, the PUBG LITE has started registration for PUBG Lite beta programme in India which will last until July 3.
And while the registration has started, the game is not yet available for download. The first few players who registered earlier will get the invite to download the game soon. The game will be rolled out to everyone in India later this year.
If you want to try the beta version first, you can visit https://lite.pubg.com and create an account for free. PUBG Mobile users that are already using an account can simply log in and complete the registration process.
The company has announced that users that register via this event will be given the Tiger M416 skin and Cheetah parachute for free. And if over 100k users registers, the game developer will bundle the Black Scarf, Punk Glasses and Bloody Combat Pants without any extra charges. Crossing 200k registrations, games will receive gold pubg scarf, striped long-sleeved shirt and red sports top.
All of these rewards will be given in-game via codes that will be mailed to the players.
As far as specifications are considered, the PUBG LITE requires a minimum of Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, 4GB HDD space and at least Intel HD Graphics 4000.
