Huawei Wingle e8231 is a portable USB powered Wi-Fi data card. It is almost similar in size as the traditional 3G data cards and supports a mini SIM. It is a pretty cool device that can be used with any service provider’s SIM. With the complete plastic body it gets matte finish. There is no external software required to connect it with PC.
You can use the device with your PC USB or can use any other USB power source such as power bank, to create a Wi-Fi zone. Up to 10 users can be connected using the device at the same time. It has two LEDs on the top, the left blinks to indicate 2G, 3G or 3G+ connection while the right one indicates Wi-Fi activity. It offers download speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5.76 Mbps.
It supports the Power-Fi E8231 app in built that allows to manage data usage through the Huawei Mobile Wi-Fi App. The app can be downloaded from “Google Play” on your Android device and you can start monitoring your data usage and battery life in real time. You can also can add MicroSD card of up to 32 GB to store data on the device.
