The BT Banjo is in continuation of previous X series of speakers by Intex. It is a budget friendly micro Bluetooth speaker to hit the market recently. Many speakers in the same price range come in funky designs but this one features relatively flat design in the form of a rectangle which makes it easy to slip into a carry bag. The build quality and looks are not much impressive, though the speaker boasts fair looks.
Decent Sound Quality: We tested the speaker across various tracks to check the sound signature and despite the small size, it did justice to most of the tracks. You should not expect heavy bass coming out of the speaker in such a size, so if your music library contains bass tracks, you should not go for this one. It got loud at higher volumes but was also accompanied by slight distortion. Apart from this, it sounded fuller and performed well across light music, hip-hop, jazz etc.
Vocals sounded clear even at lower volume levels. It performed best under 70-80% volume levels and with less complex music wherein all instruments were played at once. It worked fine within 10 m range. The built-in 600mAH battery, once charged, delivered 4 hours of music playback.
