Bottomline : iVoomi targeted low-budget segment, which doesn’t have many devices. Me1 Plus has good specification plus it can handle light apps and games. With above average performance and a decent camera, it's only for those who have a tight budget.

iVoomi focuses on the low-budget consumer's needs and brings two devices Me1 and Me1 Plus at the price of 3999 and 4999 respectively. Surprisingly, the low-budget phone has HD screen and 1GB RAM, meaning no compromise in terms of specs but what about the performance, let's find out…

Build quality

Considering the price, I can't expect to get the premium body, still, iVoomi used the solid plastic body for the phone. With average build quality, the phone has 2.5D curved-edge glass on the front but now sure about protection.

It sports Micro-USB ports and 3.5mm audio sockets on the top. The removable back cover gives you access to SIM slots and microSD card slots and removable batteries. Amazingly, the phone supports 4G and VoLTE.

Screen and camera

Me1 Plus has 5-inch HD screen which you won't see in devices available at this price range, While it has HD screen still screen is average, colors are accurate but viewing angles are not great. It has decent brightness but it can trouble you in direct sunlight.

iVoomi Me1 Plus has 8 MP camera at the back and 5 MP at the front. Using the rear camera you can capture decent quality images in daylight with accurate colors, but low light shots are dull and filled with noise. Camera focus is also poor and you need to struggle with it. The front camera is decent but as like rear, you can't expect quality images.

Performance

Though it comes at 5k, yet packs above average hardware. It runs on stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow, making it a good phone for light usage. You can enjoy movies and light games on the phone without any hiccups, but multitasking is a pain. Also, you can easily see performance lag while playing high graphics intensive games.

Packed with 3000 mAh battery, the phone can last for a day with moderate usage. If you are playing games, capturing shots or watching the video then it won't last for even a day. On video loop test, it lasted for 4 hours and 42 minutes, while playing video over WiFi with full brightness and volume.
