JBL recently announced its latest midrange TWS earbuds JBL C115. In the crowded space of TWS earbuds, JBL kept the pricing of the product competitive, though the MRP is Rs. 8,999, but one can buy it under 5k. But is it worth of spending 5k, let’s check this out?

When you open the case, you can see two earbuds which intact with strong magnetic grab which is quite strong. The casing comes with USB Type-C port on the back to charge the case and has three LED indicators upfront; for charging and battery status.

The earbuds are tiny that fit securely in my ears. It also has a clean design with matt finished on the top. It doesn’t have touch sensors, instead, JBL added soft-touch buttons to control your music and calls. You get plenty of functions including support for Google Assistant or Siri. But you cant control volume using buttons.

The JBL C115 TWS supports Bluetooth 5.0, giving you a long-range and consumes less power compared to previous-gen Bluetooth. Once paired it connects automatically with your phone when you take out of the casing and disconnect when you put them back.

Performance

JBL C115 TWS earbuds produce rich sound. The Earbuds are well-balanced natural soundstage so you can enjoy music at low and mid volumes. The treble and bass are completely balanced and vocal sound is quite clear, even at maximum volume. It has a dynamic 5.8 mm drivers to give an authentic audio experience. It handled the lows, mids and highs perfectly. While listening to heavy bass songs, the amount of bass it produces is really commendable. But if you love to enjoy music with high bass, then you will be disappointed.

Overall it delivers great sound and vocal at different volumes. I played songs of various genres in different file formats like FLAC, mp3, ALAC, and WAV. Therefore, we can say, JBL C115 earbuds produce detailed and crisp vocals.

Each earbud has 55mAh batteries and the charging case 410mAh battery. Using the earbuds gave me battery back up of over 3 hours of battery life in one charge, when on full volume. With moderate usage, it can last for more than 4 hours. The charging case can give it juice for three times of usage, even then there was some juice available to charge the earbuds a little, meaning it can stand for over 18+ hours. The case takes more than two hours to charge fully from 0-100 per cent.
