With the tagline of 'Never Settle' OnePlus revamped its previous smartphone OnePlus 3 and comes with 3T. As you can guess from the name only, its upgraded 'Turbo' version of OnePlus 3 which is an amazing device.

Looks fab as like its successor

There is no change in terms of build quality and design. It has an ergonomic solid design which gives it a premium look and comfortable feel in your hand. The back gets sandstone finish and Graphite in color with a bulging camera. The sides are slightly curved with the thin profile of 7.3mm only.

The front is covered with glass, giving it premium look. At the bottom of the screen, one fingerprint sensor and two touch sensitive navigation buttons are placed. The fingerprint unlocker and invisible backlit capacitive touch keys can be customized as per your need.

AMOLED screen producing great colors

The elite body holds 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED Full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The new screen is better than the previous one with improved brightness, deep black levels, good contrast ratio, and color reproduction. You can easily operate the phone even in direct sunlight, additionally, there is a night mode to soothe your eyes and protect from strain. With great viewing angles, this lets you enjoy games and videos with you friends and family. 3T is still using 2-D curved Gorilla Glass 4 protection on the top of the screen.

Awesome image quality

It boasts a 16 MP camera at the rear (f/2.0 Aperture, 1.12 µm Pixel size.) with high-speed autofocus technology (PDAF), updated Electronic (EIS) and Optical (OIS) stabilization technologies and the lens is protected by sapphire glass. The snappy camera lets you capture images with a hole lot of details and rich colors. With the quite fast autofocus, the camera app has several modes including slow motion, video, manual, and panorama.

We captured images in both day and night, the daylight images come with vibrant colors and details, however, a little bit grains can be seen with low light images. The rear camera can capture videos up to 4K resolution.

The front 16 MP front camera (f/2.0 Aperture, 1.0 µm Pixel size) captures great selfies and groufies. Even the low-light selfies come with the good amount of details and colors.

OnePlus 3T Review- OS

There is no change in the OS, 3T also running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as a base for Oxygen OS. The customization on the Android is quite less, offering near stock android experience. The clean interface is quite intuitive, plus allows you to enable some gestures controls such as wave your hand over the phone, it will show you the time.

The phone is backed powerful combination of SnapdragonTM 821 (2.35 GHz) quad core processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB internal memory. Surf the Internet, play games watch movies and do many other activities, it handles all the apps easily without any visible performance lag. I played games like Asphalt 8, Fifa, NFS, and Mortal kombat simultaneously, expecting to see a little graphics lag. But the phone is quite powerful, even while keeping rest of the app running at the back, I was able to play and switch between them quickly and easily.

Lasts for more than a day

The previous device had 3000 mAh battery but the new device has 3400 mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A) technology. If you are in hurry, then plug it for 30 minutes and its done for the entire day, yes it can power-up the device for more than 80%.

OnePlus 3T Review battery

I used the phone for more than three weeks, in one full charge it lasted for more than a day, roughly 30 hours. However, it completely depends on your usage, still, the powerful battery can last for a day even with heavy usage. In our video loop test, it lasted for 3 hours and 40 minutes while playing video over wi-fi with full volume and brightness.
