If you ask for the stunning device of the year 2017, then till date I would say its Samsung Galaxy S8. It's not only about the infinity display, the phone has really slim bezels on the top and bottom, accompanying a big 5.8-inch screen which doesn't feel large.

The infinity screen

Samsung Galaxy S8 boasts a 5.8-inch SAMOLED screen that flows over the side bezels. The big display produces vibrant colors, crisp images, and balanced saturation. Watching movies is a breeze on this fantabulous screen. I enjoyed the screen for throughout the testing. I played games, watched videos, and many other tasks, and simply loved the screen.

The whole body is covered with glass, the back is protected by Corning Gorilla glass, but it attracts smudges, which steals its beauty.

In terms of brightness, it’s perfect to use in almost every light condition, however, in direct sunlight, you might find a little difficult to read texts.

At the back, it has 12 MP camera that captures amazing images in both day and night light conditions. Images come out with popping colors and a good amount of details. The low light images are also good with neglectable grains. Whether you are capturing landscapes, flowers, or any other object, you will enjoy the camera. Having the fast shutter speed, it enables you to clicks so quickly, which helps in capturing moving objects.

The front 8 MP shooter is perfect for both selfies and groufies. It also captures good amount of details with popping colors. Also, using the rear camera you can capture excellent quality 4k videos.

A multitasker

Backed by top-notch hardware, the phone can perform almost every task. Be it games or any other application, you would enjoy all of them without any visible glitches. The edges also has option to add your favorite app shortcuts for easy access. However, on this many can argument as few can like and few won’t find it that much useful.

The phone also has a physical button Bixby assistant, which I think is placed at awkward location, as I pressed it many times accidently. Moreover, the Bixby is dud to me, as it just mimics Google Now. You will see some news, reminders and videos. Also the fingerprint scanner is placed with camera, which could be placed somewhere else as it was difficult to reach to scanner every time.

The longer battery life

Samsung Galaxy S8 is backed by 3000 mAh battery that can last with you for more than a day with moderate usage. In our video loop test it lasted for 13 hours and 25 minutes while playing video over WiFi with full brightness and volume. It's amazing, you can use the phone without thinking about the battery life. Play as many videos you want to play and enjoy games for many hours.
