Bottomline : SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 flash drive delivers what it promises in the real world. Though the price of the drive is almost double than traditional 64 GB drives available in the market, even from SanDisk, but the transfer speed is unmatchable. This is the right choice for people who are willing to pay higher amount but not willing to wait for a couple of minutes to transfer data.

The real life performance

I have reviewed several devices from Sandisk including iXpand, Connect Wireless, etc. but this seems really promising in terms of higher transfer speed. I tested its performance in the real life and it's really impressive. Transferring files such as photos and files were real quick.

While running benchmarks including HD Tune Pro 5.60, the Read Transfer rate was 102.4 MB/sec with 1.64 ms Access time. In CrystalDisk Mark, it gave read speed (seq) of 124.8 MB/sec and Write (seq) of 63.67 MB/sec. When we copied an assortment of 4 GB files to flash drive it took only 48 sec with speed of up to 107 MB/sec. While transferring data from drive to PC, it took only 32 sec with speed of up to 175 MB/sec.
