Tecno Camon iClick Review: Screen

The full-view display has HD+ resolution (720x1440), which is lower than other competitors offering Full HD screen in the price segment. But you can't ignore screen's color richness and brightness levels. Popping colors enable you to enjoy videos and games. Though you can miss the punch while playing high-graphics intensive games.

Camon iClick is graced with a 20MP selfie camera and 16MP rear camera. It is the first smartphone by Tecno, which is AI-powered. With its’ AI beauty feature, AI Auto Scene Recognition, AI Bokeh and AI soft flashlight you can get intelligent selfies.

It captures quality shots in daylight with the decent amount of details and rich colors. the camera app has some useful modes such as burst mode to click moving object. For shooters, there is Super pixel mode that clicks multiple shots of the object and merges them to bump the resolution.

The phone also supports AI to detect the scene and choose the best mode to click a shot, however, we didn't find any visual differences. Lowlight shots are not up to the mark, you can notice noise and sometimes over color saturation.

Tecno Camon iClick Review: Performance

Backed by powerful hardware, it handles all the apps easily. We stuffed the phone with several apps and games including Asphalt 8. Manages multitasking and copes-up with high graphics intensive games as well. However, it generates heat while playing graphics intensive games that could be because of GPU rendering.

Equipped with 3750 mAh battery, the phone can last for more than a day in moderate usage. In our video loop test, it managed to play video over Wi-Fi with full volume and brightness for 11 hours and 53 minutes.
